Seth and I are creeping up on the BIG anniversary. Last year we talked and dreamed about the trip we would take to celebrate our first decade of marital bliss...head out of the country? maybe a trip to Hawaii? or perhaps a ten day cruise? We had pretty much agreed that a cruise would be the best option...we're kind of veterans at this point, we'd know what to expect and it's the most "bang for your buck". Then we had our first trip away in July and it made me second guess what we were thinking. After one night away from the Little Man I was ready to go home. I couldn't imagine an entire week away, especially with little to no contact with him and my mom...plus with Fonzie in the mix, it would be an awful lot to ask of someone.
So...we're looking into other options for a long weekend romantic getaway. Should we stay local or fly somewhere? Beach or mountains? City or quaint little town? We've tossed around a few different ideas...Montreal, NYC, Savannah...but haven't made our final decision. Have you been some place that you particularly enjoyed?

we're talking about the same thing, lately! i'm guessing that finn will be weaned by then, since the other 2 were by that age, but it'll be close. it makes it hard to plan something! i don't know where to go either - i care a lot more about the getting away and being together than where we go! =)
we did a long weekend away in nyc 2 years ago, and it was so much fun!! it was a pretty full weekend though - not the best place to just rest and relax, if that's what you're going for. i'm sure whatever you pick will be great!
