That pretty much sums up how I felt by the end of yesterday! I took the day off to meet up with Denise at Ocean City for our annual June visit. I should have known I was in for a bit of a crazy day when I started it off by losing my wallet in the car after stopping to get some iced coffee. As if I needed any help feeling more dumb about the whole situation (I found it on the other side of the passenger seat about 10 minutes later) I had an audience...some dude just sitting in his van watching me run back and forth to D n D's and rip the car apart! Thankfully my trip down was uneventful and I had a nice time chatting with Denise and playing in the water with Rachel. We walked on the boardwalk and I picked up some of Seth's favorite popcorn...well, I thought I did...after paying for it I realized it was the wrong kind (it was missing the peanuts)...man! After getting some water ice and saying our goodbyes (easier knowing I'll see them Saturday!) they headed back to Wildwood and I made my way home. As I walked back to my car I saw I had a missed call from Seth so as I pulled out I called him back. Serves me right for breaking the law in Jersey...I somehow missed the entrance to the expressway and ended up going about 30 miles out of my way...ugh! Two hours later I arrived at the house. I was anxious to show Seth the pictures from our day at the beach. I started to flip through them and after about 9 of them I was back at the beginning again. Huh? Then I realized what I had done...when I was messing around with the setting I accidentally formatted the memory card...bye, bye pictures of our fun day on the beach! Frustrated doesn't begin to describe the feeling. I decided to hop in the shower to "cool off" when I realized I had pulled yet ANOTHER stupid move...no sunblock on the backs of my legs! SO...needless to say, I'm glad it's a new day and I can start over again. Hopefully today won't be filled with so many stupid mistakes!PS- anyone know of any good recovery programs for digital pictures?!

That sounds like my days recently!! I sware I am the biggest clutz lately and my memory has totally left me! That's nice you guys had a great beach day - how come you don't go to Wildwood? I have never been to OC, NJ yet, since my in-laws' beach house is in Wildwood that is where we typically go (aside from the trips to Sea Isle & Avalon, where some of our friends live).
i like OC more than wildwood and it's closer for me!
...why not just enjoy the beautiful beaches of Maine?
Oh, I hate when I do stuff like that! You aren't the only one! How frustrating. Hope you were able to get some more pictures.
I can't believe that was a week ago already! Have you downloaded the pictures that you were able to recover to snapfish yet? I'd like to see them. I still have to download my beach pictures, maybe this weekend when things slow down here.
